The train she ees not coming. One just blew by at about 60 and it was funny watching people jockey for spots to get on a train that was obviously not stopping.
I've been following Cory Booker on Twitter. He's the mayor of Newark. He unseated an old-school, Democrat machine politician with hope and a non-partisan platform of using whatever ideas work to help his beleagured city. I liked him during the campaign even though he's a damn dirty Dem. He is I think the kinda politician this country needs. The kind who are trying to solve problems logically without resorting to partisanship and rancor. I support him and will continue to do so. I pray he does not let me down.
Well, fuck. It looks like I will be staying late today. Thank you, MTA!
Yesterday, the newt and I walked about 3 miles down the Old Croton Aqueduct Trail from Yorktown Heights and then back. I am paying for it today. It's a great walking trail. Well it's not a trail per se so much as a paved path through the woods and neighborhoods running from Westchester all the way down into Manhattan.
Fucking train is now here. Bound to be crowded. Oh joy!
